The simple, delicious way to enjoy tradisional Umeboshi. This dip is suitable to enjoy with fried foods, grilled foods, vegetable sticks, etc. The flavor is mild, so it is easy to enjoy for everyone.
Remove seeds from Umeboshi, then mince the umeboshi flesh with a fork until it becomes a paste
Add mayonnaise to the umeboshi paste, and mix

Note: We are using red umeboshi in this recipe, so the result is slightly redder. It also has a distinct taste of shiso leaves because red umeboshi is pickled with shiso leaves. If using the usual umeboshi pickled not with shiso leaves, it's still delicious. It will look like the following picture.
