Steamed Sticky Rice with Sweet Potato
The sweet potato that steamed using seiro becomes sweeter and has a soft texture. You can add dashi stock into the rice to make it delicious, too.

Glutinous rice / sticky rice

Instructions
Make sure to soak glutinous rice in water for 6-8 hours.
Cut the sweet potato into 1.5 cm cubes and soak in water for a while.
Drain well the water of the soaked rice. Add sake and dashi stock to the soaked rice and mix well.
Boil a lot of water in a pot
Lay a
steaming cloth
on the bottom of the seiro, spead the rice above the cloth, and put the sweet potato on top.
Steam for about 40 -50 minutes, and finish it with sprinkled sesame salt.
