1
tbsp
salt

tbsp
sugar
Optional ingredients
Chili flakes
Miso powder
Shiitake powder
Black sesame seeds
Dried shiso leaves
Instructions
Using a grinder, gently grind the sesame seeds so they release their oil. This will help them to smell good when you toast them later.
Toast the sesame seeds on a frying pan over very low heat for 10 minutes. They should be golden and full of fragrant, but be careful not to burn them!
Shred the nori sheets into smaller chunks.
Mix shredded nori with the toasted sesame seeds, adding a little salt and sugar.
Add any additional toppings to suit your taste!
Notes
You can store this seasoning in airtight container for up to 3-4 months.
