Did you know that you can make tinctures with mugwort as an essential? Besides being used as food ingredients or brewed as tea because of its rich content with myriad benefits, we can also process mugwort to be used as tinctures.
Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves (dried or fresh), or the roots of one or more plants in alcohol or vinegar.
We can use tinctures made by this ancient herb for a variety of purposes, such as:
● Dipping it in a cloth
● Diluting it with water to make a mouthwash
● Dividing it with water or glycerin to make a lotion, or
● Mix it with oil or beeswax to make an ointment.
Once you make a tincture from mugwort, you’ll be able to store it for a long time! Advantageous, isn’t it?
