How to Cold Brew Green Tea
Those who can’t tolerate the bitterness of green tea still can enjoy the refreshing and health benefit of it. One of the ways to do it is by cold-brewing your green tea. It sure takes more time, but this simple method helps prevent the bitter flavors while extracting a very smooth, aromatic, and healthy green tea with less caffeine content.
Cold Brew Green Tea
Ingredients
- 8 teabags green tea
- 8 cups water (about 2 litres)
Instructions
- Pour the water into a large mason jar or glass jug. Then add the green tea bags.
- Cover with a lid on the jar or jug and place it in the fridge for at least 6 hours, or maximum 24 hours.
- After 6-24 hours, remove the bags.
- You can add honey if you want to add sweetness in your Cold brew green tea.
