Lemon Ginger Green Tea Recipe
Researchers found that the consumption of green tea has the most significant effect on human health compared to other forms of tea processed from the same plant. Catechins contained in green tea are believed to have so many health benefits.
In this recipe, we would like to add more ingredients into our green tea that can even give you more health benefits; Lemon and Ginger.
Lemon Ginger Green Tea
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 packet green tea (Also Read Notes)
- ½ inch grated ginger
- 1½ teaspoon honey (optional if you would like a sweet hint in your green tea)
- ¼ lemon (juiced)
Instructions
- Boil and bring the water to simmer. Add a green tea bag and steep for 5-10 minutes.
- Add ginger and lemon juice.
- Remove tea bag. Add honey (optional) when the tea is not too hot anymore.
- Your Lemon Ginger Green Tea is ready to enjoy!
