Homemade Miso Sauce (All-Purpose)

Cook Time 25 minutes
Servings 150 ml

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup your favorite type of Miso (red, white, etc as you like!)
  • ½ cup Mirin
  • ¼ cup Sake
  • 1 tbsp Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Put all the ingredients in a pan. Then Whisk all together until it is mixed well.
  • Boil the sauce mixture over medium heat.
  • When the sauce mixture is bubbling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-30 minutes until it is thickened.
  • The Miso Sauce is ready to use.
  • If you do not consume it directly, please keep in the airtight container. You can store it in the refrigerator up to 2 months.
